Teaching Philosphy

I have many tenets that I try to hold myself to.  My list is always changing and growing.  The first one is the most important to me:  EVERYONE CAN LEARN.  From this tenet I remind myself that everyone learns differently and at different speeds.  Students need to feel safe and happy in their learning environment and it is my job to create that for them.  Teachers should also build relationships with every student, with boundaries.  Learning is supposed to be fun is another one.  Each day I try to remember these tenets and use them to help me become a better teacher.  Everyday is a learning process for me too.  My overall goal is to make each child feel special and successful.
